This height refers to the vertical distance from the water surface of the water source to the center line of the pump impeller. It cannot be compared with the allowable vacuum height. The allowable vacuum height indicated on the pump product manual or nameplate refers to the vacuum value on the water inlet section of the pump, and It is measured by experiments under 1 standard atmospheric pressure and water temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. It does not consider the water flow after the suction pipe is installed. The height of the water pump equipment should be the value that allows the suction vacuum height to subtract the head of the suction pipe, and it must overcome the actual topographic suction height. The height of the pump equipment cannot exceed the calculated value, otherwise, the pump will not be able to pump water.

The miniature water pump indicates that it is necessary to know that the impact of the calculation value is the resistance of the suction pipe and lose the head. Therefore, it is advisable to choose a very short pipeline installation and install as few elbow fittings as possible. You can also consider appropriately matching a larger diameter water pipe to reduce Flow rate in the tube.


For micro water pumps, it should be pointed out that when the elevation and water temperature of the pump equipment location are different from the experimental conditions, if the local altitude is above 300 meters or the temperature of the pumped water exceeds 20 degrees Celsius, the calculated value must be corrected. That is, the atmospheric pressure at different altitudes and the full steam pressure when the water temperature is higher than 20 degrees Celsius. However, when the water temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, the full steam pressure is negligible.


In terms of piping equipment skills, the suction pipe must be tightly sealed and must not leak air or water, otherwise the vacuum at the water inlet of the water pump will be damaged, and the water output of the water pump will be reduced, or even no water can be pumped in severe cases. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good job in the interface of the pipeline carefully to ensure the construction quality of the pipeline connection.
